The Placement Cell of Ranchi University was established in the year 2010. This Cell is fully equipped with modern facilities like Wi-Fi facility and ultra modern group discussion hall and a conference hall. Since the inception of this Placement Cell a number of companies like H.D.F.C. BANK, INGVYSYA BANK, STERLITE (A company of Vedanta Group), Magma Fincorp Ltd., DAINIK BHASKAR, BASIX Ltd., RJ School of Management Study, THYROCARE, GENPACT, WIPRO, I.I.J.T. Ltd., HCL TECHNOLOGY Ltd., RELIGARE SECURITIES Ltd., SHIVPRA FINANCIAL (P_ Ltd., KRITI SOLAR Ltd., I.B.M., ICICI BANK etc. visited and recruited the students from different professional course like M.B.A., M.C.A, M.Sc. (ELECTRONICS), B.B.A., B.Sc. (I.T./C.A.) and general courses of this Ranchi University. The IB (Department of Home Affairs, Govt. of India has also visited the Placement Cell for campus recruitment.
During the Covid period April 2020 - May 2021, total 148 students were placed and many more to go. Online recruitment drive for many companies is in pipeline. Webinars on communication software, technical software, coding language was also conducted
