This is one of the youngest Department of Ranchi University Established in 1988, it is a place for holistic development of girls. The students are provided training in different skills by the Women and Child Development Ministry of Government of India. This is part of the empowerment exercise and equips the students for gainful self-employment. The Development also offers P.G. Department course in “Food Preservation and Bakery “ . It has also started cultivation of mushroom in the Department. Thrust Area of Research: Nutrition , Child Development , Textike, FRM, Envirinment Management. |
